The Beamish pewter door knob range by Finesse features a simplistic and smooth sphere design on a rectangular backplate to complement contemporary décor schemes. Similar to the Pelton range, Beamish products have been designed with a slightly larger door knob for enhanced grip.
Designed, manufactured and assembled in our modern manufacturing facilities based in the UK, all products are made from genuine, solid pewter – a lustrous metal known for its natural, rustic finish to bring character and charm to any home.
The range has been tested to BS EN 1670:2007 Grade 5 to achieve exceptional corrosion resistance – making the range ideal for internal, external and coastal applications. All Finesse products are also suitable for use with Accoya ® wood.
All pewter door knobs are supplied in pairs with 25mm pewter plated fixings and a 90mm solid steel spindle which can be cut to size to suit doors with a maximum thickness of 50mm.
This backplate is available in three options to suit locking and non-locking applications:
Latch – Typically used with internal passage doors which don’t require locking. To be installed with a tubular latch.
Bathroom – Lever handle designed with an integrated turn and release mechanism for applications whereby the door should only be locked from one side such as bathrooms. To be installed with a bathroom mortice lock.
Lock – Designed with a standard keyhole on both backplates to allow locking with a skeleton key. To be installed with a sash lock.
